Robert Duncan McNeill was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, but raised in Washington, D.C. until his family finally settled down in Atlanta, Georgia. Later, he attended a local high school and after he graduated, he moved to New York City and enrolled at Juilliard. While he was attending Juilliard, he got the role of Charlie Brent on the popular ABC daytime drama "All My Children". He has also been on many TV shows and movies - including popular shows such as "The Twilight Zone", "L.A. Law", "Sisters", "Murder, She Wrote", "The Outer Limits", "Crossing Jordan", "Star Trek: Voyager", "Lucky/Chances", "Homefront", "Going to Extremes" among others. After he leaved "All My Children", he landed a role in Stephen Sondheim's Broadway musical "Into the Woods". His theater background also includes performances in "The Fantastiks - The Boy", "Lucy's Lapses", "Romeo and Juliet", "Six Degrees of Separation", "The Family of Mann", "The Four-H Club" among others. Mc Neill's television experience also includes roles in a number of movies such as "Masters of the Universe", "Mothers, Daughters and Lovers", "Spies", "One More Mountain", "Infested". He made his directorial debut on "Star Trek: Voyager" and continued on shows such as "Dawson's Creek", "9mm of Love","The Battery", "Enterprise", "Dead Like Me" among others.
