Born on Feb. 2, 1962, and he was raised in Northbrook, a suburb of Chicago. He stands 6'3" tall, and works out regularly to stay in shape. When he was a child, his mother had a friend in the acting industry, who suggested young Michael try out for a local tv commercial. He got the part, and continued to do other local commercials as he grew up. While still in Chicago, he worked as a costumed singing telegram deliveryman, with costumes such as a pregnant nun and a leprechaun. He also had jobs in an electronics store and a zipper factory. After High School he attended the University of Southern California's School of Drama, where he obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1984. Michael had a role in the play "Hair" in northern California. Along with his other cast members, he played his role completely naked. Michael hosted the Playboy channel as a V-Jay (Video jockey), saying "Welcome to the Playboy channel". While at that job he started squinting to see the teleprompter, not realizing he needed glasses. He was let go as a V-Jay because of it. He has also been a personal fitness trainer, with such clients as Pierce Brosnan, and other celebrities. Currently, Michael is on NBC's "The Pretender" as Jarod.
