Saverio Guerra
Born: Aug 24, 1964
Saverio Guerra portrayed Bob, the obnoxious but likeable, Bronx denizen in BECKER. Guerra's television credits include regular roles in the CBS series "Temporarily Yours" and "EZ Streets." He also had a recurring role in "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer" and guest-starring roles on numerous sitcoms including "Mad About You," "Caroline in the City" and "Homicide: Life on the Streets." In motion pictures, his credits include "Summer of Sam," "Blue Streak," "Bad Boys," "Sleepers," "For Love or Money," "7 Deadly Sins" and "Mr. Wonderful." While Red Hook, Brooklyn might seem an unlikely breeding ground for an actor, Guerra found it a natural place to observe life from a vantage point that would later enrich his career. He continues to draw from his background on New York's streets as well as from his years in the New York theater to create interesting characters seen on both film and television. Guerra grew up in a loving and loud family. It wasn't until he was faced with a life-threatening car accident that he decided to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
