Luke Perry (Coy Luther Perry III) was born October 11, 1966 in Fredericktown, Ohio. After a rocky start in soaps includingLoving 1987–88 and Another World, Perry landed the role of Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills 90210 (1990–95). Perry made several films during seasonal hiatuses on 90210, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992), and 8 Seconds (1994). He left the show in 1995 and has since appeared in several feature films including The Fifth Element , American Strays and Normal Life. Perry returned to 90210 for the last season of the show.
